If you wish, add a profile image through Add Profile Image, then click Save Profile.
5. Add your first artwork
Return to My Gallery and click Add Items in the Gallery section. In the upload window, click Select Images.
- upload the highest-quality original file available;
- do not add a watermark;
- use RGB color mode;
- ArtPal accepts JPG, GIF, BMP, TIF, and PNG; the page recommends JPG;
- do not artificially enlarge a small file;
- for paintings, use a high-quality photograph or scan with no unnecessary background around the edges.
6. Open the uploaded artwork
After upload, the artwork will appear in your gallery with an Edit required warning. The listing is not complete until the item details are filled in. Click the artwork.
7. Enter the title and description
On the Edit Item page, complete Artwork Title and Description. In the description, explain what is shown, the mood, color palette, style, and distinctive features of the artwork.
According to ArtPal's prompt, do not include pricing, payment methods, or shipping details in the Description — the site provides separate settings for those.
8. Add keywords and a category
In the Keywords field, enter search terms separated by commas. Then indicate whether the image is safe for children and work, and choose a category.
Example for a painting with sailboats: sailboat, harbour, sunset, sea, water, marina, coastal, landscape, painting, boats, evening.
9. Configure how the artwork will be sold
Print-on-Demand
ArtPal can offer printed versions of your image to buyers. The uploaded file must be large enough for this option. In your example, the 275 × 404 px file is too small; for this aspect ratio, the site shows a minimum requirement of 1000 × 1469 px, with a larger file preferred.
Originals (and your own prints)
If you are selling the physical original artwork or your own prints, enable this section. In that case, you are responsible for shipping the item to the buyer.
10. Choose promotion options and save
In the Move to Top section, you can keep the free Keep this art at its default position option or select paid promotion. Connecting Facebook, Threads, and Instagram is optional.
When everything is complete, click Save Changes.
11. Check the published artwork
After saving, open the artwork's public page and make sure the listing has been published correctly: the title, image, description, and selected sale options should all be visible.
If you notice a mistake, return through Edit Item, correct the information, and click Save Changes again.
