Transportation of paintings from Kiev to Paris
Art DomMarch 31, 2023We recently received order to transport the artist's studio from Kiev to Paris. At first the artist indicated that there would be about 70 paintings of medium size - 50 x 70 cm. We calculated the cost of all our services and started our cooperation.

We arrived at the studio (27 Khreschatyk St., Kiev), which is located on the top floor. Together with the artist on a video call we selected 107 paintings to be transported.
After that we photographed and measured each piece of art. This allowed us to prepare a photo and description for the expert who did the expertise on each piece of art - permission to take it beyond the border of Ukraine.

There is also information that one of the studios of the famous Ukrainian artist Nikolai Glushchenko (1901-1977) was located in the House with Star. |
After the work was completed, you could enjoy the evening scenery of the very center of Kiev.
The next step is to get ready for transport.
Prepared documents for export - the conclusion of the state expert that the submitted art objects are not cultural property of national importance and must be taken out of the borders of Ukraine.
Once the packing was complete, we received the paperwork from the expert and loaded all the work into our transport.
The final stage was the 2,500 km trip. The road was long and grueling. At the customs checkpoints, the customs officers inspected each bag of paintings, checking and verifying that there were no violations on our part.
Voilà! On the day of our driver's arrival, Paris was greeted by the yellow and blue Eiffel Tower.
We delivered all the paintings to the artist's studio in Paris as carefully as possible. It took ten days to arrive.
Along with the paintings, we transported sculptures, paints, tools, and canvases that the artist needed to create new works of art.
The entire process took 20 days:
- photographing, measuring the works;
- drawing up all the documents for exporting them abroad;
- carefully packed each work;
- loaded for transportation, securely secured;
- 10 days of road, at least 2400 km of road;
- paintings and sculptures successfully delivered to the artist's studio in Paris.
