Since March 2022, we have seen how DHL offices and branches ceased operations in Ukraine. As a result, many Ukrainians faced the question – which courier service to use for sending parcels, including art pieces, abroad?

The ArtDom gallery workshop has been manufacturing boxes for shipping paintings abroad since 2016. We have created an original design so that collectors and art lovers receive paintings whole and undamaged. We have already sent more than 1,000 international parcels, and in this article we will show the process of manufacturing our boxes and conduct a small crash test. 

When the picture is large, the cost of logistics is correspondingly higher. After all, the tariff is calculated based on size and weight. For example, the tariff for delivery of a picture on a stretcher 150 x 100 cm in the USA will exceed 500 u.o. Therefore, one of the ways to save money on the international delivery of large paintings is to send them in a roll.

In this article we will get acquainted with the work of an outstanding artist and talented Ukrainian graphic artist - Yuri Dotsenko . We were lucky enough to hold in our hands the catalogue of the artist's exhibition of works from 2003. It presents all the paintings and graphics that were exhibited at the artist's personal exhibition. The catalogue was published by the National Union of Theatre Workers of Ukraine with the assistance of the Actor's House.
