The ArtDom company has developed and patented a special design for a lightweight cardboard box with a frame, featuring so-called "stiffening ribs". Such a box is 3 times stronger than standard, self-assembling cardboard boxes. For over 7 years, we have been delivering Ukrainian art pieces in these boxes, having shipped more than 3,000 parcels to 70 countries worldwide. During this time, we have perfected our packaging technology to maximize the probability of safe, damage-free delivery. To absorb shocks, vibrations, and to provide protection during drops, we add cushioning materials of various densities - bubble wrap, styrofoam, and foam rubber. A reinforced frame box is an excellent solution for delivering expensive paintings, sculptures, and vases abroad at an affordable price. Crates made of fiberboard, plywood, or OSB panels certainly offer better protection during delivery, but they are heavy, which increases shipping costs. Therefore, a reinforced box is a compromise solution - a lightweight and reliable box for the international delivery of artworks. Each side and edge of the box is protected by several packaging materials:

- five-layer corrugated cardboard;

- a frame made of cardboard corners;

- styrofoam, or double styrofoam if the painting is framed;

- bubble wrap;

- foam rubber, if the item is extremely fragile - products made of porcelain, ceramics, chamotte, glass, crystal, or plastic.
