Reinforced boxes for the delivery of paintings and sculptures

The key to successful delivery of paintings and sculptures is the production of durable, reliable, lightweight and functional packaging.

Light packaging - will save money, since the tariff of carriers and postal operators is calculated by size (HxWxD) and weight.

Strong and reliable packaging - will give all participants peace of mind in life and work, the sender and its recipient (client, customer) will calmly wait 10-20 days until the parcel arrives at the address, and the carrier can calmly reload from one vehicle to another or transfer to a sorting center.

Functional packaging - will allow you to open and close the box without violating its protective functions. When a box or box has the ability to open and close it, customs representatives can conduct an inspection and check with accompanying documents without tearing or compromising the integrity of the packaging. 

For the production of packaging, ArtDom gallery uses reliable and high-quality materials that are allowed to be used in accordance with customs rules, sanitary norms and standards.

For plane protection against impacts and penetrations, we use:

- fiberboard sheets (2-4 mm);

- OSB sheets;

- plywood;

- 5-layer cardboard.

To protect against corner impacts, we create a protective frame, add stiffeners and shock-absorbing materials:

- planed (solid) wooden slats;

- cardboard and metal corners;

- bubble wrap (air bubble film);

- soft and dense foam.

You can also order a simple crate for delivery and transportation of an item around the city and Ukraine. In this case, we will make a frame from slats and securely fix the painting or sculpture. If the piece of art is very fragile and goes on a long journey, it is worth making more serious packaging - a protective frame and sewing it with fiberboard sheets or OSB boards.

Additional modifications:

- handles made of rope or metal;

- wheels;

- "legs" for easy lifting with a forklift.
