••• Svetlana Poluyanova (Karpenko). I sign my works with the surname Poluyanova in honor of my grandfather, an artist who died from wounds received during the Great Patriotic War. Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, I have been living and working in Kyiv. I work in the technique of painting. The direction of painting is closer to impressionism, the graphics are designed in the Art Nouveau style, the images can be stylized depending on the idea of the picture. The greatest joy for me is the opportunity to write without thinking about the result, completely surrendering to the impulse of reflecting my emotions, impressions from nature, or the embodiment of a conceived and conceived idea.
