Chebotaru Tamara

Chebotaru Tamara Vissarionovna is a prominent Ukrainian artist. Her husband and two sons are also talented artists. The Chebotaru family is a famous Ukrainian dynasty of artists (husband - Chebotaru Nikolay, son - Chebotaru Andriy), which has already entered the history of Ukrainian art and made a significant contribution to the development of Ukrainian modernism.

Born in 1954 in the village of Hlyboke, (Odesa region, Ukraine). In 1973 she entered the Odessa Pedagogical Institute at the Faculty of Art and Graphics (course of painting and drawing - Professor V.A. Hegomyan, a student of the famous Armenian artist Saryan). In 1977, after graduating from the institute, she was sent to work in Kyiv.

She worked as a teacher in an isostudio and a decorator in the cultural complex "Korabel".

Still lifes of Tamara Chebotaru are a real picturesque revelation - each painting delights the eyes of the audience and takes their breath away. The real magic of the artist is color and volume. Color fades and flashes, calms and vibrates, giving the still life a special semantic and color coloring. Large, pasty, textured strokes add volume to the composition and you literally want to touch the flowers.

Participant of more than 50 exhibitions - collective and personal projects in Ukraine and European countries.

Tamara Chebotaru's paintings are in gallery and private collections in Ukraine, France, the USA, Hungary, Greece, Holland and other countries.
