Dmytro Shevchuk – Ukrainian sculptor
Shevchuk Dmitriy Viktorovich (1964, Kiev) - Ukrainian artist, master of ironic caricature.
Since childhood I was fond of modeling plasticine figures. That's why the choice of higher education institution was already determined. In 1991 he graduated from the Kyiv Art and Industry College (now Kiev State Institute of Decorative and Applied Arts and Design named after M. Boichuk).
After studying, he was engaged in the production of master models (sculptures of small forms) for manufacturers both in Ukraine and abroad (Italy, USA).
In 2010, the artist began his "Satire as an Art of Life" series. These are bronze statuettes up to 20 cm in height in the genre of ironic caricature. Each work is handmade by the artist, with a circulation of up to 10 copies.
