Sculpture Finding balance H-26, author Dmitry Shevchuk

Previously, the sculptor had already made a similar plot (Sculpture Finding balance, 2020). In 2024, the author made a remake - he increased the format, the hands were better designed, the hero holds a “golden” ball. Everything that surrounds us is the result of harmony, the product of nature. But the basis is that balance is needed to maintain the functioning of the entire system. Therefore, in a person’s life there will always be drama, irony, joy, laughter, crying, grief and apathy. Each person has to make his own choice and fill the vessel of life with his own meaning and follow his own path. In the end, you need to maintain a balance of everything.

Author's handmade work. Sculptor Dmitry Shevchuk he prepares the figure from wax, applies a clay layer, then - melts the wax. Only then is the metal poured. Afterwards, the author makes the final touches and the figurine is ready. The whole process, from sketch to finished figurine, takes about 3 weeks. So, the master can create, although not much, very original, funny and beautiful sculptures.
