Oleshchuk Volodymyr - ukrainian artist

Oleshchuk Volodymyr - was born in 1972 in Ternopil (Ukraine). From 1987 to 1991 he studied at the I. Trush School of Decorative and Applied Arts in Lviv. In 1997 he graduated from the Lviv Academy of Arts. From 1999 to 2004 he worked at the Institute "Ukrzapadproektrestavratsiya" as an icon painter.

He participated in the reconstruction of some outstanding monuments in Kiev (St. Michael's Cathedral), Poltava and Lviv. Since 2012 he has been a member of the National Union of Icon Painters of Ukraine. Professionally engaged in icon painting and painting on canvas. He researches painting technologies and implements them in his art. Recently has been working in the field of abstract painting, as well as experimenting with video art, photography, music and NFT. Participant of Ukrainian and international exhibitions (Poland, Croatia, USA, Switzerland), plein airs.
