Peremyshlev Nikolay
Peremishlev Nikolay Stepanovich - (1953, Zhitomir region - 2019)
Ukrainian artist, painter. Born in the village of Bolshiye Kleshchi, Zhitomir region. In 1969 joined Ivanovo Art College (painting and teaching faculty). Taught in children's art school (Zhitomir, 1979).
1992-1994 - lived and worked in Germany. 1997-2000 - lived and worked in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 2001, he returned to Zhytomyr.
The artist also lived in the Czech Republic and Spain, where he made music, painted, and exhibited his work.
Since 1990, he has held more than 30 solo exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad.
As the artist himself claimed - «Drawing is like a way of life. I do it constantly and a lot. I try not to be tied to time in my paintings. My subjects vary from portraits to symbolically philosophical paintings. And I synthesize techniques - both impressionism and expressionism». Although the artistic work of N.S. Peremyshleva seems a bit sad, the artist himself was very positive. That's why the artist encourages us to look at us from the outside and presents the viewer his vision, in which there is a philosophical meaning.
The artist is especially known for iconic work "The Wall" created in 2012. Measuring five by six meters, the painting immediately captivated the public with its scope and content - you can look at it for hours, pondering the content of our lives. Video presentation of the "Wall" project:
Also, Peremyshlev N.S. received special recognition after the creation in 2016 of "Requiem" paintings (3*6 meters). The painting was presented in Barcelona and then exhibited in Munich.
