Loza Natalia

Natalia Loza (born December 5, 1964, in Kharkiv) is a Ukrainian artist, educator, and Honored Artist of Ukraine. She has been a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (NUAU) since 1995 and is recognized as a key figure of the Odesa School of Painting.

Biography and Education

Born into the family of the People's Artist of Ukraine, Adolf Loza, she chose an early path in fine arts, graduating from the Odesa Theater and Art School in 1984. She later pursued higher education at the South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after Ushynsky, graduating from its Faculty of Art and Graphics in 1992.

Creative and Pedagogical Career

Loza specializes in realistic easel painting and watercolors. Her artistic portfolio is deeply inspired by maritime landscapes, coastlines, and the distinct architecture of Odesa and the Black Sea region.

In addition to her studio practice, she is highly dedicated to academia. She currently serves as a professor at the South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after Ushynsky, where she shares her experience with the new generation of contemporary artists.

Exhibitions and Collections

Since the late 20th century, her works have been regularly showcased in solo, national, and international exhibitions. Her paintings have been exhibited in countries such as Ukraine, Germany, Poland, Bulgaria, and Georgia. Natalia Loza's artworks are held in state museum collections in Ukraine as well as in numerous international private collections across Europe and worldwide.
