“Yoga” is an expressive work by Olena Litka from her original “Pop Art” series, where a vivid palette and grotesque imagery create an unusual, almost theatrical world. The composition features stylized red animals and a skeletal figure dressed in striped clothing. Their elongated forms and peculiar poses contrast with a decorative background filled with oversized flowers containing eyes, lettering, and a geometric checkerboard floor.

The composition is built around the contrast of saturated red, deep blue, sunny yellow, white, and black. Bold color fields enhance the visual energy, while the checkerboard pattern along the bottom creates the impression of a stylized stage. Simplified shapes, expressive outlines, and deliberate distortions emphasize the graphic quality and decorative character of the artwork.

The painting combines elements of Pop Art and ironic caricature. The artist uses visual exaggeration, unexpected combinations, and touches of absurdity, inviting viewers to interpret the imagery as a play of associations rather than a literal scene. The title “Yoga” adds an ironic dimension: the characters’ unusual poses contrast with familiar ideas of harmony, balance, and physical practice.

This painting can become a striking focal point in a contemporary interior, creative studio, home office, or eclectic space. It will stand out particularly well against a neutral wall, allowing its vivid colors and unconventional imagery to command attention.

This original artwork by Ukrainian artist Olena Litka will appeal to collectors of contemporary art and those who appreciate Pop Art, visual irony, and bold artistic expression.
