"Between Sky and Garden" is a vertical floral still life. At the centre of the composition is a lush bouquet in a clear glass vase: tall blue and violet delphinium spikes rise upwards, while large white peonies with delicate pinkish tones open below. The bouquet is complemented by round heads of ornamental allium and slender stems of wild grasses. The vertical spikes give the composition rhythm and upward movement, while the pale peonies draw the eye to the centre of the canvas.

The work is painted in oils with extensive use of the palette knife. The artist paints in an impasto manner with broad, confident movements: the peony petals are sculpted with thick layers of paint, and the delphinium spikes are built from short, raised strokes that create a lively, vibrant texture. The background is worked in thin, gliding layers with vertical drags, so the flowers seem to emerge from a shimmering space. The artist's signature "A. Dub" with the date "26" is in the lower right corner.

The palette combines rich blues and violets with white, pearly pink and deep green. The lilac-grey background with golden and olive highlights softens the contrasts and fills the painting with light and air. The mood is festive yet calm — an image of a summer garden in full bloom.

Anna Dub is a contemporary Ukrainian artist, founder and teacher of the RAFINAD art studio. Floral compositions and expressive still lifes are among the main directions of her work: she paints in oil and acrylic, uses the palette knife, layered painting and impasto, seeking above all to convey the emotional content of natural imagery.

With its large vertical format of 80 × 120 cm, the painting will become a striking accent in a living room, bedroom or spacious hallway. The light background and refined blue-and-white palette suit both contemporary and classic interiors. It will also make a beautiful gift for a woman or a lover of floral painting.
