Original hand-painted artwork

"Haymaking" — is a cheerful, panoramic, and incredibly color-saturated landscape oil canvas possessing high aesthetic and collectible value. The painting attracts attention with its rich texture, vibrant palette, and dynamic rhythmics of sunlit mountain slopes. Its author is professional artist Lytvyn Nina (born 1972), whose recognizable painterly handwriting, bold artistic technique, and refined sense of color have earned recognition among art collectors and admirers of modern art.

The plot of the painting transports the viewer into the atmosphere of a sweltering summer day in the mountains during haymaking. In the foreground is a wooden fence that diagonally leads the eye deep into the composition, gliding over colorful, blooming hills. In the middle ground, traditional haystacks are visible, cozily situated on pink-green meadows. In the distance, massive mountain ranges rise under a bright blue sky with textured, volumetric clouds.

The palette of the artwork is distinguished by the boldness and expression of contrasting combinations. Warm lime, orange-yellow, ochre, and soft pink shades of meadow grasses contrast spectacularly with the deep emerald, blue-green, and turquoise tones of the distant mountains. The bright azure of the sky and the textured white-lilac clouds fill the pictorial space with air and dazzling sunlight.

The artist's authorial technique in the "alla prima" style with expressive strokes gives the scene volume. Stylistically, the canvas masterfully combines elements of post-impressionism, expressive landscape, and plein-air painting. This is a vivid painterly celebration of the beauty and fertility of the land, where a classic rural motif turns into a life-affirming symbol of natural harmony, energy, and summer warmth.

The harmonious square format makes the canvas an excellent style accent for a modern or classic interior. This original hand-painted piece by the master will become a warm and positive visual centerpiece for a living room, dining room, country house, bedroom, or cozy hall styled in country, Provence, contemporary, or eclectic styles.
