Ozyumenko Peter - Ukrainian sculptor

Ozyumenko Peter - along with his brother Andrew, a famous Ukrainian sculptor.

The future master sculptor was born in Kiev in 1978. Graduated from the Shevchenko State Art High School (1997) and the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture (Kiev, 2003).

Participant of all-Ukrainian and international art and jewelry exhibitions since 1999. Solo exhibitions in Kiev (2009-2010).

Winner of numerous competitions, including jewelers at "Jeweler Expo" (Kiev, 2007-2009, 2011, 2014, 2016-2017), "Azure Wave" (Odessa, 2016, 2018). His favorite material is bronze combined with silvering and gilding techniques.

The sculptor considers his vocation to create graceful figurative compositions that seem weightless. Works by Pyotr Ozyumenko are filled with harmony and positivity. The author seeks to enrich the imagination of the viewer, to present it above the commonplace.

Together with his brother in 2011 he created a sculptural composition "Insurance agent's boots". The sculpture is made of 92-size bronze shoes and is installed in one of the streets of Kiev. By the way, this object is included in the National register of records of Ukraine.

Also in 2011 a film "Symphony of Form" was made about Ozyumenko brothers.
