Kishenyuk Peter
Kishenyuk Petro Ivanovich (also - Kishenuk Peter) was born in 1965 in the town of Novyi Rozdol, Lviv region. He graduated from Mirgorod Ceramic College named after N. A. Gogol in 1986. Graduated from N.A. Gogol Ceramic College in 1986. Then - Lviv Academy of Arts, Department of Architectural and Decorative Plastics.
Since 1998, with interruptions works in Sumy Regional Art Museum. Since 1998 he has been working at Sumy Regional Art Museum named after N. Onatsky as an artist-restorer.
For more than 2 years he lived and worked in Poland. About six years Peter Kishenyuk lived and worked in the US (New York). He returned to his homeland, the museum.
During his studies in educational institutions and independently got acquainted with various techniques and styles of painting. He uses them actively in his works, trying to choose the right ones for displaying his impressions on the canvas, and, if necessary, he quotes his favorite places. The exposition includes portrait, still life, landscape, paintings-reflections, paintings-expressions, paintings-expressions.
Participant of all-Ukrainian exhibitions (Poltava, Kiev), first personal exhibition of the master of painting spent in 2005. The second solo exhibition of the artist organized in Sumy Regional Art Museum. In 2009 the artist organized Sumy Regional Art Museum named after N. Onatsky, where he presented 50 paintings. The third personal exhibition was held in July 2021 at the same museum with the title "Sumy - New York. Cities Connected by Art.
Peter Kishenyuk's works are in private collections in Ukraine, Poland, USA, Germany, Canada and Spain.
