Peter Kishenyuk likes to travel, he toured USA, Europe, Eastern countries, and from each trip brings impressions - which he embodies in painting and graphics.
In the featured painting, the artist depicted memories of his visit to New York City. He was struck by the spirit of freedom and grandeur of the country while traveling to the USA. Therefore, Peter Kishenyuk conveyed his emotions and impressions, creating a plot with the main symbol of the USA - Statue of Liberty. The spirit of greatness is also felt due to the large size of the painting - 145 x 171 cm.
Incidentally, returning from a USA travel, the artist held a personal exhibition “Sumy - New York. Cities connected by art,” which took place in 2021 at the Sumy Regional Art Museum.

KISHENYUK Peter - was born in 1965 in Lviv region (Ukraine). Graduated from Mirgorod Ceramic College. Graduated from N.A. Gogol in 1986. Then - the Lviv Academy of Art. His works are in private collections in Ukraine, Poland, USA, Germany, Canada and Spain. Member of all-Ukrainian exhibitions (Poltava, Kiev), held three solo exhibitions (2005, 2009, 2021).
