Panina Yulia - Ukrainian artist

I am a Ukrainian artist. I live in Kyiv. I have an education as an economist and interior designer. I have been in art for 6 years. I am an eternal seeker of beauty and aesthetics in everything that surrounds me. Creativity is an integral part of my life, as a manifestation of feelings and emotions. Creativity is what heals in moments of sadness, and what gives birth to unique creations in moments of happiness. I write in modern technique and realism, using acrylic paints, texture paste and potala. Usually I paint paintings-images without facial features. This is how my series of paintings “Golden Maidens” was born. How recognizable is a masterpiece without the main character and who he really was in reality, and not the information that has come down to us? Would this painting be a masterpiece if there was another character? And who would he be in our modernity? Facial features dictate our character, thoughts and mood. In my paintings, I want us not to cling to the image imposed on us. So that we ourselves decide who he will be, this main character of a famous masterpiece. Maybe even try him on ourselves. After all, each of us can and should be a masterpiece of our own life picture.
