Vladimirov Alexey - Ukrainian sculptor, artist
Vladimirov Alexey - was born in 1957 in the Kuban. In 1984 graduated from the Kiev State Art Institute. Since 1987 - member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
The name of Alexey Vladimirov is well known both in Ukraine and abroad. His works are exhibited in leading galleries and museums of our country, including National Museum of Ukrainian Art (Kiev), Kiev Museum of Russian Art, National Museum of History of Ukraine (Kiev).
One of Vladimirov Alexey's works called "Family" decorates the public garden in Chernihiv. It is made of Indian sandstone by a special author's technique.
The master's works are in museums and private collections in Ukraine, Sweden, Austria, England, Germany, Holland, France, Italy and the United States.
In the opinion of the critics the works of Alexei Vladimirov presented at the personal exhibition in California (USA) have defined "the new era of sculpture". Since 1984 the artist has actively participated in plein air symposiums of stone and wood sculpture. He is the organizer of the International Symposium in Yuzhnoukrainsk (Ukraine, 2002) and the leader of the International Sculpture Plenary Symposium in Gurzuf (Crimea, 2006).
Also, Alexei Vladimirov is a participant, organizer and artistic director of many symposiums of stone and wooden sculpture. The super task the author has set himself is the definition of spatial universalism, when each work of the artist could easily fit into any landscape.
Vladimirov is a very positive personality and talented author of artistic works - both sculptures and paintings. Yes, Alexey also draws pictures in his own recognizable style. Vladimirov Alexey confidently works both with the stone, and with metals. He created and realized many projects in Ukraine and far beyond its borders - monuments, art objects, park sculptures and much more.
