Lyusya Petrik - Ukrainian artist

Lyusya Petrik (Lyudmyla) is a bright Kyiv-based artist, representative of contemporary Ukrainian art. Her work amazes with its ability to combine deep psychology with virtuoso mastery of color and plot. Her work is a symphony of emotions embodied in paintings.
She graduated from the Kyiv Children's Academy of Arts, and in 2017 received a diploma from the National Academy of Art and Architecture, where she studied in the workshop of Professor M. Guida. Laureate of the prize named after. A. Muraška.
A special place in her work is occupied by portraits, where plasticity of forms and laconism are combined with an exquisite palette and psychological depth. Each image created by Lucy is not just a reflection of external beauty, but a penetration into the inner world of a person.
In the genre of “nude” the artist reveals the beauty of the human body, singing its harmony and grace. Her works are a hymn to aesthetics, where every line and every shade emphasize natural perfection.
Active participation in international and all-Ukrainian plein airs allowed Lucy to expand her creative horizon and enrich her palette of artistic techniques. Her talent has been recognized at the international level: she won the 4th Portrait Competition in Fourges (France) and received the Grand Prix Denis Renier in 2016.
