Handicraft by the great maestro of the Ukrainian art world - Alexey Vladimirov. A man of great talent, a versatile master - artist, graphic artist, sculptor of metal, bronze, stone and wood. For his sculptures, Vladimirov uses imagination, a chisel, a hammer and a glass, occasionally making sketches or drawings.
The sculptor has been living in Italy for the last few years, he has long fallen in love with the beauty of the local nature and often finds inspiration there in his work. To create this work, Vladimirov Alexey used the famous Carrara marble (marmo di Carrara).

This grotesque, charming little female figure is named for its unconscious association with moonlight. The idea is also that such a wonderful figurine genetically goes back to the numerous huge stone "Scythian women" (also, Kurgan stelae or Balbals), which were dotted across the ancient Ukrainian steppe. So in many ways, this is a real Ukrainian sculpture in spirit... The face of the moon goddess with her eyes downcast is magnificent - a charming, good-natured, Asian-style round face, with a sly look in her narrow eyes... The symbol of the East is the full bright moon. And that is how she is in everything - the little goddess of the moon - uncertain, playful, shaky, even insidious, feminine, mysterious, constantly changing.
