Shevchuk Yuriy - Ukrainian artist, was born in 1961 in Kiev (Ukraine). He studied at the Kiev Art School and then at the prestigious Kiev Academy of Architecture.

Yuri combines three passions in his paintings - painting architecture, urban landscapes, jazz and historic cars. Since 1993 Shevchuk has lived in Prague, which he depicts in many of his paintings and where he also exhibits extensively. He is spoken of as an accomplished master, full of artistic and intellectual energy. Shevchuk, an associate member of the Pastel Society of America, has participated in numerous exhibitions, and his works are held in private collections worldwide - in Ukraine, Czech Republic, Russia, Germany, USA, France, Belgium, Canada, England, Australia, Austria, Italy, Argentina, Brazil, Israel, Spain, etc.
