Today, the issue of reliable storage is more relevant than ever, so that works of art can be reliably preserved. In addition to the properties of the warehouse, such a premises must meet several important requirements.

The very issue of storing art objects - paintings, graphics, sculptures - is very important and expensive. Due to the current situation in the country, this process has become even more difficult and much more expensive. It’s worth noting right away that no company in Ukraine will guarantee 100% safety and integrity of all items. This is due to the unstable situation on the military front and possible damage due to hits from shells, missiles and the “arrivals” of their debris.

But this does not negate the fact that there are ArtDom gallery premises, which are regularly monitored and inspected by our employees. We maintain and protect our own collection of art objects, which number more than 400 items, so we know more than anyone else about the features and requirements for this process.

Storage for art objects is not as demanding as for expensive syrah, jamon or caviar, but there are still a number of requirements that will help not only preserve paintings, but also keep them in their original form. Here is a list of requirements that the ArtDom gallery regularly supports for the preservation of art objects:

- dry room with renovation;

- constant room temperature at 18-22 degrees;

- a ventilated room without dampness, which will protect works of art from mold and other unpleasant consequences;

- away from water pipes, which eliminates the possibility of flooding in case of accidents, pipe breaks, etc.

- free from pests (rodents and insects);

- no direct sunlight;

- with fire and security alarm;

- with limited access.
