Characteristics

Zirconium siccative is a medium for accelerating the drying of oil paints, intended for thinning oil paints.

It is recommended to mix with oil paint in quantities of no more than 5%. This type of siccative is used to achieve deep drying of oil paints; therefore, it is particularly suitable for impasto painting. Using the medium in excessive quantities may cause cracking of the paint film. The product does not alter the hue or brightness of the color.
