The gold leaf is free – this is a very thin foil that is used in the gilding technique to imitate gold.

Leaf leaf is made of metallic particles of copper and zinc. Depending on their ratio, two types of gold steel are distinguished: 2 and 2.5.

Bases for decoration: ceramics, cardboard, plaster, wood, glass.

Main characteristics:

– thickness 0.3 µm;

- used for interior work;

- store in packaging at a temperature of 18-23C, away from sunlight;

- each letter was translated with a thin sheet of parchment.

Usage: A sheet of free tali is removed using a lamp or a gilder's knife and applied to a surface previously glued with mordant or mixtion, after which it is smoothed.
