The canvas, mounted on a stretcher, is made of 100% linen. Linen is durable and resistant to moisture and temperature, guaranteeing the longevity of the piece. Handcrafted, the fibers retain their shape and the unique grain of the canvas, which is essential for painting, is preserved. Medium-grain canvas is the most popular and versatile canvas for painting.

Oil-emulsion ground is the ideal base for oil painting. It adheres strongly to the canvas and oil paints, prevents paint from bleeding through to the back of the canvas, and helps preserve the richness of the paint's colors.

Oil-emulsion soil cannot be wetted with water.
