An OSB box measuring 200x300 cm is a budget-friendly yet reliable packing solution for shipping paintings, sculptures, icons, and other fragile works of art. Compared to plywood, OSB is more vulnerable to moisture, but it protects well against drops and impacts for one-time shipments.

A layer of dense foam is fixed inside the box to absorb vibration and impact, and each artwork is additionally wrapped in bubble wrap before packing. The box is made individually within 1–3 days, based on the number of items and how they are secured inside.

OSB crate for export: ISPM 15 requirements

For international shipping, wooden packaging must comply with the ISPM 15 phytosanitary standard so that wood pests do not cross the border together with the packaging. OSB board is processed wood: it is not subject to ISPM 15, so an OSB crate is suitable for shipping abroad without fumigation. If the design includes a frame, slats or skids made of solid wood, we use treated wood bearing the ISPM 15/IPPC marking.
