Divolo Light Alcohol-Based Shellac Varnish, 125ml

Divolo Shellac Varnish is a protective varnish for gilding, perfect for pre-finishing furniture and wood surfaces. It adds richness and a refined amber hue. It has undergone additional cleaning. Suitable for both professional and amateur use.

Main characteristics:

A solution of purified shellac flakes in alcohol;

Varnish color: amber, transparent

Gives the surface a particularly shiny appearance;

After drying, the surface becomes smooth to the touch;

Emphasizes the characteristic pattern of wood, giving a special aesthetic effect;

Ready to use.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Apply a coat of cleaned shellac with a brush or sponge. Once the first coat is completely dry, apply additional coats. Use in a dry, well-ventilated area. If the surface is intended for outdoor use, it is recommended to apply up to 3 coats of cleaned shellac, dry on dry.

DILUTION: Dilution can be done with 94% alcohol. Brushes should be washed with 94% alcohol or nitro thinner.

DRYING TIME: varies depending on the layer applied and climatic conditions, 3 hours at 20°C in a dry and dust-free environment.
