Divolo Glossy Transparent Finishing Varnish for Gilding, 250ml

Protective varnish for gilding is an alcohol-based solution of synthetic resins, a liquid consistency. Recommended for use on steel to protect against damage over time. It can be applied with a brush or spray.

Varnish color: straw yellow, transparent

Doesn't turn yellow

Forms a thin, even film

Does not change the color of the base

After drying, it creates a glossy finish.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: Apply a layer of protective varnish to the gold leaf with a brush only after the sheet has adhered to the base. The base must be completely dry. A second layer of varnish can be applied only after the first layer has completely dried. Use the varnish in a dry, well-ventilated area. If the base is intended for outdoor use, we recommend applying up to 3 layers of protective varnish. Allow each layer to dry for 3 hours at 20°C.
