Damar Gloss Varnish is a synthetic resin and white spirit-based varnish with a slightly yellowish tint. Ready to use and suitable for brush application, it creates a transparent and glossy protective film. This varnish offers a very high gloss finish (40% solids content), good flow, and slow drying.

PROPERTIES AND APPLICATIONS: Glossy dammar varnish is used after the completion of a piece of art or restoration project to create an effective protective film against dust, grease, smoke, scratches, weathering, and aging in general. Glossy dammar varnish also has a second important function; it often happens that after the completion of a new work or restoration, some areas appear shinier than others. Glossy dammar varnish serves to even out the work and enliven the colors. It can be used to protect both oil and acrylic works. This varnish is not suitable for food consumption, so do not use it on surfaces intended for human or animal consumption, such as dishes, cups, etc.
