Chromerzats cardboard is a boxboard made from cellulose, wood pulp and waste paper, with a coated coating.

Like all packaging cardboard, chrome-mercuric has a multi-layer structure, increasing its thickness and rigidity. It has a two-layer coating on the front side and a characteristic gray color on the back.
