Divolo Watercolor Primer 125ml

A water-based primer specially formulated for watercolor painting. It's white and creamy. It can be used on a variety of surfaces, including cardboard, wood, metal, glass, and more.

Compound : Made from pure cellulose fibers mixed with very fine transparent resin.

Application Ready to use, apply with a brush or roller. It is recommended to apply at least two coats of primer (first one, allow it to dry thoroughly, then apply a second coat in a crisscross pattern). It is also suitable for correcting paintings done on paper. The surface treated with this special primer acquires a velvety texture, similar to cotton paper. The product can be slightly thinned with water to create thinner, more transparent layers, followed by applying new, thicker covering layers. After the product dries, it can be painted with watercolors. The ground imitates the typical grain size of watercolor paper, but will never absorb the same amount of water as is typically used when working on paper; therefore, it is recommended to paint with a small amount of water, especially when creating details and miniatures.

Drying of the product: The product dries within 1 hour after application in a non-humid environment and at a temperature of approximately 22°C. However, it is recommended to wait 2 hours before continuing to use watercolors on a surface treated with this primer.

Cleaning tools: Wash brushes and rollers with hot, soapy water. Don't let the primer dry on your tools; instead, soak them in a container of water immediately after use.
