ROSA Studio Black Acrylic Art Primer, 280ml

Acrylic artistic primer ROSA Studio It is intended for priming hard and textile surfaces before working with oil, acrylic, tempera and gouache paints.

The rich black color of the soil will save time and immediately create a background for the future painting.

Thanks to its high adhesion, acrylic primer has good adhesion to ROSA Studio synthetic adhesive, since the primer and adhesive consist of materials from the same chemical group.

The high elasticity of the primer ensures the absence of cracks (with proper gluing and tensioning), the uniform consistency and durable film ensure that the paint does not leak through to the back of the canvas.

Gives the surface a uniform density and prevents mold and mildew from forming on the underside of the canvas. Adheres perfectly to any material: canvas, paper, cardboard, wood, plaster, and stucco.

Basic soil properties:

- viscous;

- almost odorless;

- dries by evaporation of water, after drying it is waterproof;

– forms an elastic, matte, uniform film;

- accepts any colors well;

- has excellent adhesion to surfaces free from dust and dirt;

- frost-resistant (withstands temperatures down to -18 ° C);

- dries completely in 2 hours; ready for use.

How to use For applying the primer, it is recommended to use large, flat synthetic brushes. Before applying the primer, the surface must be cleaned of dust, dirt, and grease. If necessary, the primer can be thinned with water to the required viscosity. A spatula (palette knife) or roller can be used to apply the primer. Before priming, the canvas must be sized with a gelatin or synthetic sizing agent. Gelatin sizing adheres perfectly to the canvas.

The second and subsequent coats of primer are applied after the previous one has completely dried. The approximate primer consumption is 200-300 g/m².

Work tools, containers, and stains must be washed with water immediately after finishing work.
