- Overview
- Characteristics
ROSA Studio medium-grain watercolor paper – a combination of quality and a great price!
European watercolor paper made from 100% cellulose is available in popular A3 and A4 sizes. A special sizing ensures a smooth transition of watercolor colors, providing vibrant, deep tones. It prevents paint from bleeding through to the reverse side, and the paper aligns well after drying. In addition to watercolor, gouache, and acrylic paints, this paper can be used with pencils, liners, and ink. It withstands up to 7 erasings without deformation. The medium grain texture is visible on one side of the paper. Choose your preferred packaging method for watercolor paper: 10- and 20-sheet bags or 10- and 20-sheet folders.
Be inspired by the beautiful paintings by Ukrainian artists Vasyl Kogutych and Alexander Bobryshev, which adorn the covers of new watercolor folders and bags and help you quickly identify the right product.

Why choose the most average grain?
Medium grain is a versatile texture suitable for both broad washes and detailing. It creates a natural watercolor texture and allows for achieving effects important in landscapes, portraits, and botanical illustrations.
Tips for use
- Start with light washes to assess the behavior of the paper and pigment.
- Feel free to use mixed techniques – mascara and liners adhere perfectly to the surface.
- Don't over-wet small parts: the paper will hold up to water, but consistency is key for accuracy.
- Store sheets in a bag to avoid mechanical damage to the texture.
