Vladimirov Alexey - master sculptor

Vladimirov Alexey - was born in 1957 in Kuban. In 1984 he graduated from the Kiev State Art Institute. Since 1987 - member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. 

The name of Alexey Vladimirov is well known both in Ukraine and abroad. The sculptor's works are presented in the leading galleries and museums of our country, including the National Museum of Ukrainian Art (Kiev), the Kiev Museum of Russian Art, the National Museum of the History of Ukraine (Kyiv). 

One of the works of Vladimirov Alexey called "Family" decorates a park in Chernigov. Made of Indian sandstone using a special author's technique.

The master's works are in museums and private collections in Ukraine, Sweden, Austria, England, Germany, Holland, France, Italy and the USA. 

According to critics, the works of Alexey Vladimirov, presented at a personal exhibition in California (USA), defined a "new era of sculpture". Since 1984, the artist has been actively participating in symposiums - plein airs of stone and wood sculpture. He is the organizer of the International Symposium in Yuzhnoukrainsk (Ukraine, 2002) and the head of the International Sculpture Symposium-plein air in Gurzuf (Crimea, 2006). 

Also, Alexey Vladimirov is a participant, organizer and artistic director of many symposiums of stone and wood sculpture. The super task that the author set for himself is the definition of spatial universalism, when each work of the artist could easily fit into any landscape.

Vladimirov is a very positive person and a talented author of works of art - both sculptures and paintings. Yes, Alexey also paints pictures in his own recognizable style. Alexey Vladimirov confidently works with both stone and metals. He has created and implemented many projects in Ukraine and far beyond its borders - monuments, art objects, park sculptures and much more.  We are sure that if we were to describe the entire creative path, we would get a whole book about an outstanding figure in Ukrainian art.
