Kozul Natalya

Kozul Natalia (1966-2010) was a Ukrainian artist.

She lived and worked in Odessa. In 2009 she was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Ukraine. In 2010 was awarded the Certificate of Honor by the Governor of Odessa Eduard Matviychuk. More than 10 personal exhibitions and more than 30 collective exhibitions and festivals.

Born November 3, 1966, in the city of Murghab (now Turkmenistan). In 1989 she graduated from the Odessa State College named after Mitrofan Grekov. During her studies and subsequently took part in city, regional, republican, All-Ukrainian exhibitions, for which she was repeatedly awarded diplomas and certificates of honor.

She created portraits, landscapes, still lifes mainly in the techniques of oil painting and gouache. Expressiveness, intense color, expressiveness of compositional solutions are inherent in her work.

Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (since 2006). Since 1984 participated in group and personal exhibitions.

Her works reflect the intellectual understanding and philosophical worldview of reality by the artist, they are based on the artist's reflections on the eternal values of life, displays the problems of the broadest plan: these are burning questions of existence, the meaning of the life mission of man, the preservation of peace on earth and cultural values. High level of skill, constant creative search, optimism and humanism define the work of this artist, who with her works made a significant contribution to the development of Ukrainian fine arts.

Her works are kept in the Simferopol Art Museum (Crimea, Ukraine), Krasnoperekopsk Museum of History and Local Lore (Crimea, Ukraine), as well as in private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
