Kokin Mikhail
Artist, member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, Honored Artist of Ukraine, People's Artist of Ukraine. Member of the Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR.

EDUCATION
In 1936-1941, and after the war he studied at the Dnepropetrovsk Art College, which he graduated in 1947, the class of a wonderful teacher, a disciple of Repin, Panin.
In 1954 he graduated from Kyiv State Art Institute, where his teachers were Melikhov, Grigoryev and Kostetsky.
EXHIBITIONS
Took part in regional exhibitions since 1947, national - since 1957.
TITLES
Since 1958 Kokin Mikhail became a member of the National Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR.
In 1976 he was awarded the title Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR, and in 2001 - People's Artist of Ukraine.
CULTURAL HERITAGE
From 1965 to 1987 he worked as chief artist of the Dnepropetrovsk art-production plant. His works are represented in art museums of Dnepropetrovsk, Kyiv, Chernigov, Donetsk, Kamenetz-Podolsk, Nikolaev, Zhitomir, Sevastopol, Kherson, the museum-reserve T.G. Shevchenko in Kaniv, private collections in Ukraine, France, Spain, Canada, USA.
