A talented Ukrainian artist who loves to experiment with color and style, challenge conventions and display creative protest in his paintings. Thanks to such creative searches, Saenko Ruslan managed to find his own style - cubic shapes, avant-garde colors and deep meaning in the little things.

Saenko Ruslan (born in 1933) is a Ukrainian artist and graphic artist. Born in Tashkent (Uzbekistan). Graduated from the Leningrad Art and Graphic Pedagogical School. He graduated from the Kiev Art Institute (1966), where his teachers were such prominent graphic artists as Vasily Kasiyan and Georgy Yakutovich. An active participant in republican, all-Union, international and personal exhibitions (since 1962). Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1980).
The driving force of Ruslan Sayenko all his life has been music, in particular jazz compositions, which often play a significant role in the artist’s works and inspire him to new works. As the artist himself admits, his work is music depicted on canvas.
Personal exhibitions were held in Kyiv, Hanoi (Vietnam, 1985), Brussels (Belgium, 1993) and Paris (France, 2005). The artist’s works are in 15 state museums of Ukraine, as well as in private collections in France, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, China, Korea, Hong Kong, Luxembourg, and the USA.
