Ukrainian painter. Member of the Ukrainian Artists Union (since 1994). Participant of many international, all-Ukrainian and regional exhibitions.
Kirichenko Sergey Alekseevich was born in 1959 in Nikopol (Ukraine). Graduated from the Odessa Art College. Grekov in 1991.
The thirst for drawing came to Sergey in a mature age: after the metallurgical technical school he went from native Nikopol to Odessa, to enter the famous "Grekovka". In the Domaidanovsky period (until 2014) Sergey created abstract paintings, and now he boldly experiments with different techniques and materials.
The open and sincere decorative nature of the artist's paintings captures - all of Sergei's works embody the power of confrontation: "life squeezes you, but you do not give in, you want to blossom". Therefore, in the works of Sergei Kirichenko appears a magical, flower-decorated land, filled with cheerfulness, warmth, tenderness - as the overcoming of dark times not only by the author, but also by the whole country.
His works are in the Odessa Art Museum, the Municipal Museum of Private Collections named after A.V. Bleschunov, in the Khmelnitsky Art Museum and private collections around the world.
