Transporting paintings to Paris
Art DomJuly 7, 2023Three months ago we transported over 100 paintings and sculptures from the artist's studio to Paris. We described the details of the first shipment in our article "Transportation of paintings from Kiev to Paris".
In June 2023, the artist asked us again to move a second private piece of art from his studio.

During the workshop visit, we agreed on the graphic works, paintings, and sculptures to be moved.
The first thing we did was to remove the glass from all the graphic works, since glass can break and damage an art piece in transit. The customer asked us to deliver the glass, so we divided the shipment into five categories: paintings, packet with graphics, framing, glass, and sculptures.
More than 70 pieces of art were selected for transport.
All the works were photographed to document their condition and to prepare documents for removal (permission to export paintings (art objects) abroad, customs documents, insurance).
Once the pre-packing was completed, we took all the work down from the 10th floor and downloaded all the items into our auto. After that - all the work was further packed in our large workshop.
All 70 items were prepared for the long journey of 2,400 km. Transferred to the carriers on the voyage and informed the customer that the cargo would be delivered within 7-10 days.
Ten days later, the driver telephoned the artist and informed him of the time of arrival at his house.
And done! All 70 pieces of art were successfully delivered to the customer.
